Welcome to Metropolitan University, Karachi. I am excited to address you as Vice Chancellor of this institution. Our mission is clear: to forge pathways toward a progressive educational environment that embraces new pedagogies, digitalization, innovation, rigorous research, gender equality, and a spirit of entrepreneurship.
The necessity for an innovative and inclusive education system cannot be overstated. At Metropolitan University, we are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology in everyday teaching to enhance educational delivery and ensure our students actively participate in their learning journey. Our focus on digital technologies aims to provide our students with the tools and skills necessary to thrive in a globalized world and compete in the highly demanding job market in the country and abroad.
Research and publication stand at the core of our academic philosophy. By fostering a robust research culture at Metropolitan University, we aim to contribute valuable knowledge to the local and global community and the industry. Our research students and faculty are supported and encouraged to contribute original research that elevates our university’s academic stature and international standing and meets regulatory requirements.
Entrepreneurship and promoting a start-up culture in Pakistan is another cornerstone of our educational framework.
